I cannot tell a lie; this project is not original to me. I
saw these ram’s horns on the Hands On Bible Teacher Blog Spot. I never would
have thought of making them from
toilet paper tubes. What a brilliant idea. Adding plastic noisemakers from party horns was the piece de resistance. The instructions lacked a few pictures as to how to actually put them together – so when I made my horns I took pictures.
toilet paper tubes. What a brilliant idea. Adding plastic noisemakers from party horns was the piece de resistance. The instructions lacked a few pictures as to how to actually put them together – so when I made my horns I took pictures.
Materials needed:
- Masking tape
- Party noise makers
- Empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls
- Scissors
- Disassemble the noise makers.
2. Cut one of the cardboard tubes length wise as pictured.
3. Roll it at an angle around the plastic party horn making a
cone shape and tape.
4. Take a second tube and slightly compress one end so you can
insert it into the first tube. This also helps you create the curve in the
horn. Tape it together.
5. Do the same thing with the third tube as the second. Tape it all up. The Hands On Bible Teacher painted hers, but I thought they looked good with the tan masking tape.
Thanks for sharing!!!
